new segment - things that make me giggle
Hey there. So, I thought I’d try a new segment and hopefully you’ll play along. I’ll try to post each week under the category “Things That Make Me Giggle.” Pretty self explanatory. I’ll make a short list of things that made me laugh throughout the week. And you know what I would love? I’d love to hear what made you laugh this week…share the joy! We all need a good hearty chuckle every once in a while, right? Hey, I even love a nose snicker. So, here it is for this week…
Things That Make Me Giggle #1
- The “I don’t think I want that anymore” random disgards at the grocery store. The other day, I saw a carton of eggs left on the battery display.
- Security on segway scooters. snicker, snicker.
- When Luna comes his way, Coltan opens his mouth. yucky and funny!
- two signs I saw yesterday: 1. at the 17th street detour it said “Atlantic Station: Live here, Dine here, Detour Here.” clever. The other was atop one of the dozens of new condo towers in Buckhead. It said. “Condos from $1 to $11 million.” Man, I’d love to see the $1 condo. Ok, I thought it was funny.
- Coltan gave me a raspberry/zerbert/whatever you call it yesterday…it was so funny…I busted out laughing and then he busted out laughing and then Sam’s busted out laughing…I loved it
There it is. My short list. I’m hoping to find the funny in everyday life a little more often so that I can share it with you. But this would be WAY more fun if you would tell me what was funny to you this week. Just click and comment

I’ve got one: I was at Friday’s, with a brother and two friends, all grown men, and a guy came up to our table and with a straight face asked, “Would you like any balloon animals?” We were too shocked to say, “Yes!” But we should have, and asked for a bicycle.
HA HA What a fun idea!! I love to laugh. What makes me laugh? I love it when people go from zero to freak out in nothing flat over seemingly ridiculous issues! I was talking to a friend the other day and she was fine. Then all of a sudden she said “You sound like you are in a hole” and she proceeded to completely freak out. Presumably because she thought I was indeed in a hole? I have no idea. But is was funny!!
Couple mom moments - that only some will find funny. Ella saying “frog” is a total f-bomb and sometimes she just says her version of “frog” all day. Ron/I laughed all the way to church. Not so funny in the moment - but funny now. Ella puking all over herself from car sickness today while I’m on spaghetti junction. Windows down, I was gagging all the way to my mom’s house for cleanup.

emma asks me to write notes for her now . . . today’s note included three things: don’t drink all the orange juice (means she wants oj for b-fast), don’t eat all the waffles (same), and watch the weather (ever since tornado weekend, she wants to know the weather report). makes me giggle. and, check out our blog to see emma’s tea party in the bathroom today . cracked me up! love the seven month photos too. too cute!
Today I was able to chuckle at the large school group boarding a flight to Washington, DC knowing I wasn’t working the flight.
